Milliner made an absolutely brilliant play on the pass to Graham in the third quarter that Cromartie picked but was called back for holding by Allen.

Watching the defense for the second half of this game gives me a chubby. It's a thing of destructive beauty.

Coples rounding into form will really make a difference for this team. If he can become a force, like he is entirely capable, good luck to the other team. The Dline will be completely unblockable.

They can't double Snacks, Mo, Sheldon and Coples. This line will have QB's running for their proverbial lives and that's no exaggeration. That said it's if Coples comes to fruition, which isn't to unlikely.

There was a play I was really impressed with Milliner on besides the Cromartie INT-that-ain't. I recall him being fooled by his guy then coming back to get his hand in front to block the pass. When I saw it I thought to myself "That's a 'lights just came on' moment for this kid."

I remember the play, but was more concerned with how badly he was fooled.

At first I was livid as I thought it was going to be a completion, but he used his athleticism to get himself back into the play and he made a good one. Had he reacted even a fraction of a second earlier it might have even been picked off. Again, he's a rookie who was playing in his sixth game after missing a ton of offseason/preseason work.

The light came on moment was when he defended a pass to a WR he wasn't covering. He had coverage on a Saints WR that was supposed to clear out the area and another Saints WR came into the open space. Milliner released from his coverage and broke up the pass, it was an awesome play.

one thing that Heismanberg mentioned that I like about Milliner is his physicality in tackling and run support. he makes rock solid contact and wraps up well.

edit: also his length/wingspan. I think that contributes to him being above average at defending passes

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Milliner also did a good job potentially saving a TD by tackling whoever tripped Cro

Here is an amazing stat: QB Geno Smith passed for only one yard in the first quarter and none in the fourth

Thats absolutely insane that we won

Given all of our pretty impressive (embarrassingly) offensive stats and TO ratio and point differential, I still can't believe we've won a game...

Also to weigh in on Milliner, it was easily his best game Sunday. He made several great plays and aside from getting burned the once down the sidelines he was pretty lights out.
