I'm very much on the anybody but Geno bandwagon, but Schaub is done. That said if he beats out Geno...

I have to wonder what we might be able to garner in a Geno trade scenario. Does anybody think we could get a 4th for a second year QB with his arm talent and more or less two years experience as a starter?

Why? Did you see Schaub's numbers last year? 10 attempts, 5 completions, 2 interceptions, 2 fumbles. I know the Raiders aren't a good side but Schaub is a player in terminal decline.

He isn't going to play.  He knows more about the game than Matt Simms.  For a third string QB, you could do much worse.

He isn't going to want to go somewhere that doesn't offer him a chance to play, I wouldn't have thought. If he hasn't got a shot at a starting job anywhere and he's happy just to carry a clipboard a la Mark Brunell, Atlanta probably makes the most sense for him given they know him.

He'd have to be stupid or crazy to think he has a legit shot at starting at this point. But I agree with your Atlanta point.

It's a completely new staff in New York and Atlanta.  I think they're both even.

He's still more familiar with the Atlanta area, that should give it an edge unless he didn't like living there.

Edit: He did go to high school in West Chester, PA. That's not far from NJ.
