Meh. I'm sure it's gonna be a vet min with no guarantees, so no harm no foul. But from what I've seen of him as a Bear, he's pretty shitty.

He had that one season where over 25% of his catches were TDs.

Yeah, that was his best year. Small sample size obviously as IIRC (too lazy to fact check so I could be wrong) he only had like 16 or 17 catches that year. He's only had like 3 or 4 catches over the last two years combined.

He's a blocking tight-end who quite frankly isn't very good at blocking.

I don't know that it will have much of an effect on Cumberland's spot.  Entirely different TEs, and Davis is hardly a sure thing to make the roster.  A draft pick would be more of a threat.
