The Jets are expected to be one of the primary suitors for Seahawks free agent Byron Maxwell. The talk in Indy was that the Jets and Eagles would be the two teams fighting for him. After Maxwell, there is a bit of a drop-off, but the Jets likely will add one of the second-tier corners, too — possibly Antonio Cromartie, who has publicly campaigned for a return to the Jets.
He shook my hand breed tub and walked away
I bet we don't sign him, just like the reported near-locks of Vontae Davis and Alterraun Verner.
Our corner situation is far more dire right now. We have nobody And with Maxwell being at or near the top, and cornerback getting our last GM fired it makes a lot of sense
My point is that there's no guarantee we'll "grab" him no matter how hard we pursue, within reason.
"Hello good sir GM, may we pretty please have your throwaway centers and gords please??!? I'll suck yo'dick!"
Ugh. That bullshit still haunts me.freak you, Winfield.
That was 11 years ago!!!Yea, his Wife wouldn't let him sign with the Jets. She wanted no part of NYC.
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating
Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about
the meaningful part of this story is that we supposedly are willing to spend big money on a CB. Wether it's Maxwell, Cromartie, or Jackson, we need help.
I hear Hank Poteat is available.
