I hate criticizing fans of teams that have had recent success. Mostly because I would hate being criticized for the same thing if the Jets ever become a powerhouse. Then again that's a good problem to have I guess.

You've been a fan for a long time, so why would that matter to you?

I care to see New England lose but it probably won't happen. Not a fan of Seattle but I do love Nirvana and Pearl Jam.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

I'm nearly there as well. Probably will be there come February.

I hate it because it's 2 weeks of hype and then a bunch of commercials sandwiched around 30 minutes of actual football. Oh...and my freaking team is NEVER in the game.

Exactly. And I always end up in a room full of people who know nothing about football just screaming and yelling. Kind of like here.

Last year was the first time I watched the game in a situation in which you described and suffice to say, I'm going back to the way I was doing it the previous years: one of my friends and my in-laws. Much preferred.

No one is forcing you to be here.  And it just seems like a room full of people here because of how loudly you and dcm scream and yell.
