I received 2C-I (or maybe it was 2C-B) from another member of this forum when I was in my soph year of college. I took a hike in the nature preserve, got caught in a downpour, played Halo 2 with some neighbors (spent the whole time running away from the bad guys), and listened to the album Obscura by Gorguts (it finally made sense). Didn't get around to watching a movie though.

Stuff's a blast.

I've never seen Toy Story.  Any of them.  Never got around to it.  Maybe someday.

Duly noted.  Or maybe phenobarbital.  Then I'd have to watch it about 10 times before I remembered I saw it.

I'm not letting you pick them for me any more after I tried to watch freaking Airplane! last night. What an appalling sack of excrement that was.

At what scene in particular did you shut the movie off?

I guess airplane is one of those movies you had to have watched as a kid in order to like today. Surprised you never got around to it considering there weren't many movies to really choose from in the 80s. I feel like back then everyone watched the same excrement.

It's not one of those movies. It's timeless.

Wayne's World is one of those movies.

The point at which I really knew I was going to hate it was when he asked for a ticket to Chicago.

"Smoking or non smoking?"
"Smoking."
She hands him a ticket with smoke pouring off it.

The point at which I turned it off was when he was sitting on the plane and the lady next to him asks him if he's nervous.

"Yes", he says.
"First time?"
"No, I've been nervous lots of times."

It's comedy for the mentally handicapped.

Wayne's World is awesome. It has absolutely nothing in common with Airplane!.

That's what I was saying, because Airplane is actually good. WW has aged completely out of relevance.

It's basically all pop culture references from the early 90s. Still funny, but Airplane! shits on it.

Duck Soup aged better than Wayne's World.

No argument that if you came to Wayne's World for the first time now it wouldn't as funny.
