I watched it and I didn't hate it.  I wouldn't recommend it but I've seen worse.

Oh I thought that was coke.  I liked that scene because I've never seen a movie about a recovering addict who saves the day by relapsing.

If it was heroin, it should have been, "Whelp... I'm nailed to a wall waiting to die and that is just fiiiiiiiiiine."

I did hate Ceranno's line: "There's only one thing in the world that sounds like a gunshot."  Nah dude, there's quite a few things that sound like gunshots.

I was assuming it was heroin and she was using it as a painkiller. It didn't seem like a recognizable portrayal as someone on either drug but then again I'm not sure how one would react to using either after having their wrist nailed to a wall.

It was a meh movie overall.

I have a.lot of tolerance for fun rubbish. Which to be fair it mostly was, Bullock and Tatum seem like nice people and there are some good lines. I'm also old enough to remember Romancing The Stone though, and it doesn't stand up so well to that.

It's disappointing because JC Chandor is low-key a really solid filmmaker.  Triple Frontier was kinda meh, but Margin Call and A Most Violent Year are really good and All Is Lost is outstanding.
