I've always wanted to try Kwame's food, he comes across as a bit of a lady garden at times but his food looks spectacular.

In principle I'm just about OK with this, but for multiple reasons I suspect the execution will be a disaster.

This is not something police should be handling.

That's just one of the execution concerns I was thinking of. I'm also willing to bet that NY doesn't have the appropriate facilities, space and resources to handle a sudden rush of involuntary inpatients, because that would require the kind of funding that very few politicians or voters are interested in sanctioning and it requires it to be done years in advance.

There isn't a properly funded or staffed mental health department in the country and all of your concerns are completely valid. My biggest concern is how much the NYPD loves to resolve mental health crises with bullets. This policy will kill a lot of people.

I know somebody who got popped for unemployment benefits fraud. She was filing claims under other people's names and was either collecting a cut of or all of the money.

I'll have to see for myself on my lunch break one day.
Cool.  Btw, there’s one that just opened in Queens as well (162-10 Jamaica Ave.): https://www.timeout.com/newyork/news/see-inside-the-already-popular-new-primark-in-queens-that-just-opened-today-120122

And the Bklyn Daily Eagle’s often a good read. https://brooklyneagle.com/
