NYC, CALL UP THE NATIONAL GUARD. The lowlifes and losers are ripping you apart. Act fast! Don’t make the same horrible and deadly mistake you made with the Nursing Homes!!!
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating
Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about
Trump throwing body shots at Cuomo
The New Jersey Devil keeps knocking over my trashcans at night and taking out credit cards in my name.
?Feel like this is more aimed at De Blasio. To be fair, he should be able to handle it 36,000 officers.
The nursing homes line is a direct shot at Cuomo
Assuming Trump knows or cares specifically whose call that was
ALBANY - Gov. Andrew Cuomo tore into the New York City Police Department and Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday for failing to stop rampant looting and violence in the city on Monday night. The Democratic governor called the response “a disgrace” and said the city needs to better deploy resources to beat back the looting that struck the boroughs and midtown Manhattan on Monday.“The police must stop the looting and the criminal activity. That is the essence of the police force. They are supposed to protect the community, protect the property,” Cuomo said at his daily briefing at the state Capitol.“They did not do that in New York City last night. And I am disappointed and outraged about what happened in New York City last night.”Cuomo’s comments came just an hour after de Blasio said the city’s curfew Tuesday would go from 11 p.m. to 8 p.m. and stay at 8 p.m. through the remainder of the week.“We don’t accept that,” de Blasio said at his own briefing prior to Cuomo’s about the rioting. “We’re going to fight that. We’re going to fix that.”Cuomo and de Blasio have long feuded since the mayor took office in 2014, and Cuomo was pointed in his critique of the city’s performance after 700 people were arrested Monday as protests to the death of George Floyd turned violent.Cuomo said he offered to send in the National Guard to help the city, but was rebuffed by de Blasio and the NYPD brass. De Blasio said the National Guard would only escalate the situation, saying the city has 36,000 police officers — by far the most in the nation. But Cuomo went as far as to discuss what would need to be done to overrule the mayor — he would have to “displace the mayor,” something Cuomo said he didn’t want to do.“My option is to displace the mayor of New York City and bring in the National Guard as the governor in a state of emergency and you would have to take over the mayor’s job,” Cuomo said.
Trump loves to parrot the conservative media and you can bet your derriere that’s where he heard it. Doesn’t mean it’s not true.
