That's what you get for hitting a giant.  Think that dude could have taken the entire car.

Weird because 99.9999% of the people on the subway don't even want to make eye contact let alone cause a disturbance.

4:15 AM Jamaica-bound F train. I need some Queens brethren to back me up on how self-explanatory that is.

Our wonderful mayor, like the bitchass he is, canceled his appearance at the Rockefeller tree lighting tonight. You'd think that clown might have something to say today, no?

So this throws the whole "make cops wear cameras" thing out the window. Obviously video evidence makes absolutely no difference.

People keep responding with "homicide =! murder" but there were other things they could have charged him with.

PL 125.10 - Criminally Negligent Homicide
PL 125.15 - Manslaughter in the Second Degree
PL 125.20 - Manslaughter in the First Degree
PL 125.25 - Murder in the Second Degree

How is the guy not even indicted? Literally the entire thing is on video. What kind of grand jury made this decision?

Yup. Rockland County is extremely pro-cop. Rockland County DA Dan Donovan in my opinion didn't want charges to be brought up. It's bad politically for him to be prosecuting a cop. Sympathetic community closes ranks. No indictment.

I mean its bullshit. There's freaking clear video evidence thats certainly enough to at least prosecute for criminally negligent homicide.

I assume you mean Richmond County, but I bet Rockland isn't very different in their attitude.

I have no idea why I kept saying rockland. Stupid me. Great job trying to make the point that venue was a major factor in this case and then getting the venue wrong.
