The receiver we needed was there at 18, but I'm still not sure if any of our QBs are good enough to get that player the ball if it happened that way

Whether you agree with it or not, Rex will be taking the fall for this.  If he were safe, he wouldn't be living off of 1 year contract deals for the last 2 years.

That may very well be the case, but I'm telling you that no head coach can be successful with the sort of shambles of a roster that Idzik has managed to build in a very short time. If all we do is replace Rex then we should continue to embrace failure.
