Maybe it's about time the US teamed up with the Aussies and maybe the South Africans?

Really sad that the American team looking for a scapegoat threw Tom Watson under the bus. Watson is a legend in Scotland and some of the comments coming from a few of the US players has not gone down well here. The bottom line is the players weren't good enough, even when they had a chance to make amends in the singles they were comfortably beaten by better players.

I will say this though Bubba Watson, whom I always thought was a bit of a selfish goon was outstanding, he interacted with the crowd, really gave it his best shot and then warmly congratulated his opponents and applauded the crowd-well done!

This is a special competition, spectacular golf from the worlds greatest players and there are some great sub stories to the event - but we are getting bored washing America's face and I think they will be desperate more than ever to win in Minnesota in a couple of years time.

I hope some you guys get a chance to see the spectacular scenery surround the venue- really is stunning.
