3:00 PM PT -- Houston PD's report on the case includes photos of cuts on the boy's thigh and hands. He also has bruises on his lower back and buttocks ... according to the report.

Apparently this is how Peterson was disciplined as a child, and felt it was within his rights as a parent to discipline his son in the way he was punished as a child.

Honestly if this wasn't on the heels of the rice debacle, nobody would really care, and I seriously doubt the Vikings would deactivate him.
