Everyone wraps it up tonight, including Giants vs Pats on channel 4 with everyone we hate. New England usually plays their starters a little like teams used to in the old days.

Well this amused me

Eli Manning completed 1-of-4 passes for zero yards in the Giants' preseason finale Thursday night.
That is, indeed, a real stat line. Eli finishes the preseason 20-of-41 (48.8 percent) passing for 188 yards (4.59 YPA), one touchdown, three fumbles (one lost), and five sacks absorbed. An offseason report from ESPN stated the Giants were concerned Eli had reached his decline phase. He's done nothing to diminish those worries in August. We can't even condone drafting him in two-QB leagues.

This also has me wondering if the Giants could sign Mark Sanchez when hes a free agent after this season...

Sammy Watkins was forced from Thursday's preseason finale with a rib injury.
Watkins is technically questionable, but obviously won't return. Watkins got hurt trying to corral a slant that was "a good yard and a half ahead of him." E.J. Manuel "stared him down the whole way." Watkins then headed to the locker room. It's unclear if Watkins aggravated his previous rib issue, or suffered a new injury. It's ominous all around. Watkins hasn't shown outside of practice this summer, while Manuel has looked like one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL.

E.J. Manuel completed 3-of-7 passes for 56 yards in the Bills' preseason finale Friday night.
Clearly worried about their sophomore quarterback, Manuel was allowed to handle three drives in the exhibition finale. He didn't deliver, while losing Sammy Watkins to a rib aggravation. Manuel wraps the preseason 50-of-82 passing (60.2 percent) for 517 yards (6.30 YPA), one touchdown, three turnovers, and six sacks taken. We'll be streaming fantasy defenses against the Bills this year.

So why don't the Giants get excrement for starting Eli in Week 4 of the preseason? The Jets got a ton of crap last year for Sanchez even though it was very much an open competition.

They put in Eli with the starters because the offense needed to show a spark.

We put in Sanchez with the backup offensive line, just to win a preseason game.

And likely the biggest difference of all is because Sanchez ended up on IR and we didn't have a QB.

Had Eli ended up on IR, I'd imagine the giants would get more flac
