So that sucked, but it wasn't a huge surprise.

Yeah, can't really call that an upset.

Looking at our schedule there isn't a single game I'd consider a loss surprising.

And we'll beat the Pats next week and everyone will talk Division and Playoffs again.

I am still looking for a nice medium with the play calling. To me, everything looks either too conservative or too ballsy (over the course of the season). Something in the middle would be nice.

The Steelers had no business winning with that shitty oline.  Ugh.

Our offense was pretty bad. Also for the 3rd week in a row, a QB has had a fairly easy day against our secondary.

Geno has to cut out the RZ turnovers, the second one is understandable as he got blasted as he threw, but the first is inexcusable under any circumstances.

Also why can't we get a turnover to save our lives? 2 in 5 games, despite multiple opportunities, we just cannot for the life of us, get off the field when other teams make mistakes.

Also freak Big Ben, that guy is always lights out against us.
Need a new one for a new board...

The fact that our record is 3-3 with Geno throwing 11 picks while our D has forced 2 turnovers is a good sign if they can pick up the TOs later in the year.

Red zone INTs are killers and today was no exception.  It's going to be a long season if Geno can't cut that excrement out.

As I said after the Atlanta win, it will be all ups and downs this season for us. Geno needs stellar protection and good WR performances to be good at this point. Today he got neither. He doesn't have the ability to make things on his own yet.

I think E. was right about Winslow, we missed his blocking and Geno didn't have a security blanket to throw to, he kept on missing throws because he had no one to throw to with the little time he was given. I'm not excusing him at all, the INTs were horrible but at this point in his career he needs help.

I'm also worried about the Goodson injury. He looked decent today and losing him will be big. Even Clyde Gates was having his best game so far and went down as well.

It seems quite obvious at this point that the FO needs to address the aerial game in both sides of the ball at the moment. We need playmakers at WR and someone to inherit Cromartie's spot as he seems on his way down. A good safety wouldn't hurt either. I don't expect us to challenge for the playoffs just yet. I think we will end 7-9, 8-8 at best, which I expect will be enough to save Rex and Morninhweg's jobs. With some quality additions, we could be next year's Kansas City.

With a rookie QB and poor weapons, we knew there would be days like this.  I said before the game that nothing would surprise me throughout the season, and it absolutely didn't.  It's frustrating to follow up that Monday night performance with this one, but not unexpected.
