I know I remind you guys all the time but I live in the 7th circle of hell that is half Giants fans and half patriots fans. And the occasional Jets fan I come across is dumb enough to make me respect dcm’s opinion.

I think the Giants did really well. I love the Barkley pick (and not just for what it did for the Jets).

Eli is still a talented QB, and they've added Barkley to an offense that already features Beckham. I think they should add Dez, and make a real run the next two years. Worry about the future when you have to.

I agree. Objectively for them, I think this is the way to go despite the fact that I hate them and want them to go 0-16. So happy they went RB at #2, almost makes me want to root for them, until they win one game and every Giant fan pisses me off.

As per @NYPost_Schwartz , if Giants went QB , it was between Darnold and Allen. Shurmur liked Josh Allen the best. Only a few Rosen fans. Not a surprise there.

I disagree. That's the luxury of having a franchise QB. I'd have said the same if the Patriots took him. Unless McCarron has a couple of good years, Allen is going to get thrust into the job early in Buffalo, but with the Giants, he'd have had a couple of years to work out any issues while learning the system.

Sure, but he's not gonna be this all pro potential HOFer like Barkley. I'm not as cold on Allen as others, but I think passing on Darnold for him would be freaking nuts

Okay, if that's the angle you meant, I completely agree. If they'd have picked Allen over Darnold, yeah, everyone should have been fired on the spot.
