Anything can happen.

The QB class, for all intensive purposes, is a little more stacked this year (if they all declare).  If there were less 1st round graded QBs, i could see a flurry of trades.

I think it's moot because I can't see the Giants not taking a QB. Eli will be 38 before next season ends, and they won't be planning on picking this high in this good a class again any time soon. If I'm Gettleman and I've got the #2 or #3 pick, the only decision I'm probably making is which QB I like best in this class

The last time someone moved from 6 to 2 it was for Rg3. That was a huge haul of picks.

Unless they throw their hat in the Cousins ring. They are classier than us so he'd rather go there.

Conventional wisdom agrees with you. But Gettleman has also publicly said that his oline needs to be a top priority.  McGlinchey is a strong possibility.

We get to debate this excrement for the next 4 months. Lucky us.

That would require them to cut Eli, there's no way they could carry both contracts. Gettleman isn't going to start off his career as Giants GM by ditching their beloved multi-Lombardi QB for an overpriced 30 year old from a divisional rival.

So you can get a jump on calling for him to be fired.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

I'm hoping for a total train wreck but I have a bad feeling they will get it turned around quickly.

Q: How did your meeting go Wednesday with Eli Apple?
A: It went fine. We talked. He was very attentive. He was focused. He couldn’t be at Monday’s team meeting, so I went through the points that I made to the team with him.

Q: Are you optimistic that his career can be salvaged?
A: Time will tell. I told him he’s got a clean slate for me. Let’s move forward, let’s see what happens.

I wonder how Landon Collins feels about this.
