In what may prove to be a season-saving move, the Yankees have acquired LHP Jeff Francis from the Oakland Athletics for straight cash.

Are they planning to let him pitch, or are they just going to break him for spare parts to fix their broken pitchers?

Please tell me you quoted this from some media clown trying to sensationalize an otherwise yawner of a move. This guy was DFA'd a few days ago.

Interestingly though, the Yankees received cash from the Athletics for this move! When was the last time that happened?
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well
