I hated LeBron in the past but I don't care anymore. The Knicks won't sniff a championship for a few years
I do wonder if this makes Melo strongly reconsider going to Chicago now

Because if he comes back to new York he might never get a ring

Some douche I went to high school with has already jumped from the Heat to the Cavs. Can't remember who he rooted for in high school but it was probably the Lakers.

I know three Miami Heat fans.  Two of them jumped ship from Cleveland when he signed with Miami and the other is a fan of all Miami sports (legitimate fan).

The real fan is crushed and he knows they're going to be terrible.  The other two are Cleveland fans again and they act like nothing is wrong with it.

Like I said a few days ago, Carmelo is never going to get a ring if he's playing on an Eastern Conference team that doesn't have LeBron James on the roster.

Vegas has odds of the Cavs winning the title now at 4-1 (and Love's not even there yet). Miami's odds currently sit at 100-1! I don't usually buy into schadenfreude, but I'll make an exception for Miami.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

If LeBron went to Miami with Bosh and Wade he had a. Chances if NY got some elite talent next year, and Jackson brought fringe guys here

But now no chance

I disagree.  Wade is declining, but even then, Miami would still be a top destination for veteran role players and they'd still mow down the Eastern Conference for a couple more years.

Carmelo Anthony - Marc Gasol is not better than LeBron James - Chris Bosh

He's easily the best player in the world and he can win with average talent around him.

Melo and Gasol definitely no chance.

But Melo Gasol, and a max contract kinda guy next year?

Marc Gasol would be a max contract player next offseason if he opts to leave Memphis.

The Knicks should wait until the summer of 2016 to sign another max player though.  Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, and Andre Drummond will be available.  Kevin Durant might be as well, but I doubt it.

Makes ya wonder how Cavs fans have to feel about LeBron.

I mean how would you guys feel If Revis came back after winning a superbowl with the Patriots?

I'd still think he was a freaking excrement head, albeit a very talented one
