A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Much like the first re-imagining of this series that came out a few years ago, this is getting great reviews.

Yeah, I think they lose contact with that ship near the end of the movie too.  Hopefully they get a good actor to play the astronaut that comes back.

Back when I used to do peer-to-peer file sharing with SoulSeek, I had a file in my shared folder called paris_hilton_sex_tape_part_2.mpeg. But it was really a video of a monkey peeing into its own mouth. I always got a good laugh when someone started downloading it.

True story, I took care of my wife's Grand kids for a year and a half, their mom got in a nasty car accident hopped up.....well anyway. We brought them to Busch Gardens in Tampa, where there was a gorilla exhibit. They're 8 and 10 years old so of course they're interested. One of the Gorilla's takes a steaming diarrhea right in front of them. Sure enough as it moved away to wipe it's derriere on leaves or do whatever they do after a dump, a mother and the baby walked right in and dug their finger in like it was a Seinfeld dip and just chowed down. The kids were laughing so hard, it took hours for them to stop.

Did you see Rise of the Planet of the Apes?  I think you would like it.  I thought it was going to be absolutely terrible.
