Fantasy Football '13 Sit 'em/Start 'em
« on: October 11, 2013, 09:16:43 PM »
Really need a win in this league and i'm kinda fucked with matchups this week.

PPR

Pick 2 :
- Powell vs Pitt
- Bell @ Jets
- Fitzgerald @ San Fran (playing with hurt hamstring, bad matchup)
- Zac Stacy @ Houston
- Tavon Austin @ Houston

Powell i'm probalby gonna play. keep going back on forth on the Flex..... I know Jets are dominate against run D but i think sheer volume and passes out of the back field, along with a lucky goal line carry @ the 1 or something might be the play. Jizz rodgers somehow scored 2 tds against us, so it's not impossible. Normally i'd just ride with Fitz but the last time i played him with a bum ham he was basically a decoy and left the game early. He's also had shitty numbers vs san fran the past 3 years

Stacy is tempting because he'll get a lot of the carries and Houston run D has taken a hit but i don't think he's really a pass catching back.

Powell is risky because of Ivory and Goodson's expanded role.

If we have a lead though

he got a couple of goal line carries, he just couldn't get in the end zone. he still was the lead back carrying r egardless

Goodson is a bigger threat than Ivory because Ivory doesn't catch passes...so he's never there on third down

Made two adjustments to my starting lineup this morning.
1. Replaced Larry Fitzgerald with Steve Smith
2. Replace Matt Stafford with RG3

Both moves were atrocious. If RG3 does not get 3 points (in a very QB friendly league) in the 4th I will be pissed

I took out Fitz for Le'veon Bell in my flex. I tried to trade Zac Stacy for Denarius Moore but they didn't accept the trade in time so i just settled on Bell because Fitz was "50-50" and by the early games they didnt even know if he was going to play.

almost bit me in the derriere. i won by .6

So I have a WR question for you guys...

and yes the people I play with are mostly retarded in this money league.

Calvin Johnson Vs. Cincy
Josh Gordon vs. GB
Torrey Smith vs. Pitt
Antonio Brown vs. Balt

Pick 2, go.

Oh and to brag, these are the trades I made in the last 4 weeks.

I traded Phillip Rivers (when I had Peyton as my QB) and Jared Cook and Brian Hartline for Lesean Mccoy and Steve Smith Scott Chandler

I then turned around and traded Steve Smith, Scott Chandler and Knowshon Moreno (right after the Jags game where he scored 3 TDs for Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon and Brent Celek.

I then picked up Reuben Randle off waivers, and promptly traded him and Greg Olsen (my original TE) for Tony Gonzales and Deangelo Williams.

So now my roster is as follows

Peyton Manning
Colin Kaepernick

Jamal Charles
LeSean Mccoy
Deangelo Williams
Le'Veon Bell

Calvin Johnson
Josh Gordon
Torrey Smith
Antonio Brown

Brent Celek
Tony Gonzales

And this is a 10 team league. Sadly we only start 2 Rbs and 2 WR's without a flex. But hey, I should be set for bye weeks.
Need a new one for a new board...

So I have a 6 point lead going into tonight's game. I have Adrian Peterson. My opponent has Brandon Jacobs. Finds out last minute that Jacos is out and picks up Peyton Hillis. Now I'm down like 5 points and probably going to lose to this freaking jerkoff. AD better pull some magic out of his derriere this quarter.

That's a really shitty loss.

Have had a few of those this year too

It amazes me sometimes how much production my opponents seem to get from the waiver wire trash heap

So I have a QB question for you guys...

Eli. Manning vs. Eagles

Or

Kaepernick vs. Jags

Tough call given there is a premium on points this league for guys throwing for 300 yards. Kaep probably won't throw much, but I expect the 49ers to put up more points than The Giants today...

I have Eli going today since Luck is on a bye week. I think that game will be a shootout. Cant go wrong with Kap either. They're both favorable matchups.
