Let us not forget that the Colts lost 8 of 9 after a surprising start in 2025.

I really do not care about hot starts in the NFL.

Any given Sunday.

Quote from: Heismanberg on October 02, 2026, 09:37:07 AMWe still don't know who Chicago's starting QB will be on Sunday.

It sounds like Tyson Bagent is taking first team reps.
They didn't pay Bagent $5M a year to sit behind Keenum because Keenum had 1 good game. Would be very surprised if it's not Bagent.

Our run offense isn't good and their run defense isn't good.  That and turnovers might decide the game.

Jets inactives: WR AD Mitchell, RB Breece Hall, CB Nahshon Wright, LB Kiko Mauigoa, ED Kinglsey Enagbare, LG Dylan Parham and TE Mason Taylor.

Enagbare (knee) a mild surprise. Practiced on Friday. Should mean more reps for Will McDonald. #Jets

Bears are the better team right now, even with a backup QB.  Barring either another non-garbage-time 300 yard Geno performance or a bunch of Bears turnovers, they will just grind us down.

We won't be able to run well even though the Bears aren't particularly good at run defense so far.

The Bears are still good at creating turnovers and Geno is due for some.

AG is still our coach.  Whatever knowledge he has of Ben Johnson will be cancelled out by us running backwards out of field goal range with plenty of time before the half or some other excrement.

Bears 27
Jets- 17

Again, I want this team to stay competitive in these games.  They have done well there so far.  Close games are encouraging for a team that's been bad for a long time. They give us chances to learn how to win close games.  Blowouts mean I have to do more Sunday projects around the house at lunchtime.
