My best quarter mile ever was 59.9 seconds and I threw up out of my nose afterwards.

That was 20 years ago. #old

I've taken running pretty seriously in the past, I've done around a dozen marathons and I just got accepted after over a decade of ballot rejections to run London next April. I was never fast but I've done several sub 4 marathons, a sub 1:50 half, and a sub 50 10K.

The idea of doing 400m in sub 1 minute blows my mind. At my best I doubt I could have broken 1:30. Granted I have little stumpy legs and you're a piece taller than me, but a sub 60 400m is super impressive.

It was definitely my peak athletic achievement, unlikely to be topped.

The sub minute quarter is impressive.  Out of the nose impressive as well :-)
