$27k trip to Portugal paid for by big crypto

On the way over I had to call Gretchen Whitman on Haley Stevens . . . she was blowing guys on the plane two at a time!

QuoteThe conference was hosted by the centrist, pro-corporate think tank Center Forward, which has received donations to its nonprofit arm from major pharmaceutical companies and has a super PAC funded by big oil companies.

We all dislike the consequences of our actions sometimes.  The world would be a better place if we accepted them honestly instead of twisting ourselves in knots just to find any way to be right all the time, no matter how ridiculous.  We are all to blame because we as a society choose these people to represent us.

That's too oversimplified. We pick from a selection presented to us. And ever since Citizens United, that choice is ever increasingly the candidate more willing to take money from any source, regardless of the consequences.

It's a rigged system, that's one thing the left and right voting public can agree on. The problem is, it's rigged against everyone except at the top. Because again, that campaign money is coming from somewhere, and it ain't from Joe Public.
