Staios should've held firm on Lundell being included.

First single player trade to get 3 first round picks back since 1994. For a top line forward who has only broken 60 points twice in his career, and who by all accounts was becoming increasingly unpopular in the locker room.

Florida wouldn't give us Lundell, but if we can get McTavish (I think Robertson is a pipe dream) I think we've come out handsomely. I do agree that we need to flip the picks for a player rather than use them.

the #9 pick will land you a good player, the other 2 first rounders are lotto tickets (packaging up those 2 picks to land a veteran would be a smart move).

Robertson wants to stay in the US and is asking for like 14 mil AAV lol

Currently arguing with my Leafs friends about who hates this more. He's going to work for his buddy Sundin and apparently he interviewed for their HC job.

The one good thing is that as much as we love him, he's not a great coach. He was running our PP last season which ran very hot and cold, and then was a complete disaster in the playoffs. So he's probably a good fit there.
