Tiger has been the greatest of all-time (or 2nd-greatest if you are a Jack truther) in an individual sport where self-confidence matters as much as anything. It's not surprising that that mindset thinks he can drive through whatever inebriation he has. Irrational self-confidence works both ways.

I get the driver thing, too. If your plan is to get drunk on a given night, you should absolutely get a driver, especially with that money. But I can't imagine a level of wealth where I would ever want to give up my privacy in terms of the freedom of driving.
