Unvaccinated seating is 33% capacity with distancing.

The World Health Organization on Monday classified a coronavirus variant first spotted in India as a global ďvariant of concern,Ē saying preliminary studies showed it may be more transmissible than some other variants.

The WHO didnít report any evidence suggesting that currently authorized vaccines would be less effective against the variant.

The variant, known as B.1.617, is being studied by scientists around the world as they try to figure out its role in the fast growing Covid-19 surge in India, which reported more than 366,000 new daily cases on Monday. The variant has already spread to more than 30 countries, according to the WHO, including the U.S., the U.K., France and Japan.

...
The variant became the fourth so classified by the WHO. The U.N. agency has also given the same designation to the B.1.1.7 variant first identified in Southeast England, the B.1.35 variant found in South Africa; and the P.1 variant discovered by researchers in Brazil.

Whatever decision the Ontario government makes on any level about anything should be disregarded as incorrect, ill informed, corrupt, a barefaced lie, or all four of those things.

As to your first link:

The Feds also told them this last week:

Almost certainly this is a failed government attempting to set up a "look how we rescued you" message. The Ontario government is the single worst administration I have ever lived under, and I'm old enough to remember Margaret Thatcher.

ď ďI havenít been able to [practice basketball],Ē Durr told HBOís Real Sports. ďItís really challenging for me. But Iíve talked to doctors and theyíve told me Iím not cleared yet. Iím not cleared to be able to do anything physically, which could cause flare-ups ... And thatís whatís really hard for me because in life whenever something was hard I would go and play. I canít even do that now. I canít even shoot a free throw.Ē

The No. 2 overall pick from the 2019 WNBA Draft will be missing her second straight season due to complications from the virus. After opting out of last season, Durr still isnít ready to play and has been placed on the full-season suspended list. According to reports, she still has symptoms and has lost over 30 pounds.Ē

Manitoba is in shambles....our TP% is 16.1 in winnipeg as of today.  It's never been this high at any point in the pandemic.

I think our doofus of a premier went hat in hand to Trudeau this morning.
