2008 was softer, even the teams w/ winning records weren't very good b/c there were so many bad teams to beat up on.  this is similar but not quite as easy since Brady isn't out for the year.

Yeah, the division isn't in play this year, as it isn't most years.

This is different. That year we controlled our own destiny and fucked up against Atlanta at home then needed a lot of help.

If we win out and manage to get in, I doubt anyone would say we didn't deserve it. Especially at 11-5.

we didn't need a lot of help, they play 16 games and the teams that win enough required to make the playoffs go to the playoffs.  we controlled our destiny heading into week 16 of 2009.

I normally don't go into games 45 mins early but I got in that stadium early that night and it was electric.  I was envisioning how much fun it would if we ever hosted an AFC Championship Game.  we came close, if only Bal upsets Indy in the div rd we would have hosted.  Hopefully some day we'll get to experience that.

Fitz isn't shocking considering his career path and supporting cast at various stops

Marshall is a damn shame lol. He's a top 5 guy since he's been in the league. (Stastically, guess that can be argued on preference )
