This sucks. Even winning out doesn't guarantee making the playoffs.

I'm just happy that we aren't already looking forward to the draft.  Meaningful football

Nope. If KC, Pittsburgh and the Jets all win out, we probably miss out - I think that Denver losing to Cincinnati in that situation would see us through at their expense as Pittsburgh would win the AFC North. If we lose one of our remaining three then we need one of KC and Pitt to lose two, which seems pretty unlikely.

We should probably have a separate thread for playoff permutations, but from what I can tell we should probably not get our hopes up too much.

It would just suck to waste such a good season by Fitz and the offense/defense to go out like that.

The losses to OAK, HOU, PHI are even more brutal knowing one of them would give us a lead lol

No your right.

If all 3 win out. Broncos are out all 3 are in.

Not necessarily, Broncos could win their other two (Bengals and Chargers) and finish with a 12-4 record. The best KC can finish is 11-5, so Denver can lose to Pitt and still take the division which leaves us out in the cold.

For some reason the calculator I was using had the Broncos as underdogs to the Bengals lol

Johnny English

FWIW, I don't think all three will win out. None of those teams are good enough to guarantee all three; KC just aren't a 10 straight win team, Pittsburgh's defense is questionable, and we have a really tough set of games.

if KC, Pitt and us win out we would then need Cincy to lose their last 3 or Denver to lose 2 of 3.  still very possible but it sucks we don't control our own destiny but keep winning and put pressure on other teams to keep up.  strange things can and will happen.
