He is right where he should be. He was atrocious a year ago, and the way he handled restructuring his entire staff was abysmal.

Last years team was far more talented than its record, several of the players underperformed by huge amounts. We then tore down a lot of pieces and sent them off for other guys we hope will perform better. Several of those key additions are veterans that fit an age range where father time can easily come calling for them at any moment (Demario Davis is the easy call out here), some of whom have already shown a decline last year compared to previous years performances (Geno and Minkah specifically).

This team should perform better than last year on paper. But with another terrible coaching job, it can just as easily be right where it was a year ago, and potentially even worse if Geno plays less than 10 games this year (for any reason at all).

I do not trust Glenn, I do not trust Reich to put a consistently good offensive product on the field. I am very much expecting this season to be another mediocre one. The only real question is if we are bad enough on our own to pick top 3, or if we win 6 games due to young playmakers showing out, and then we have to trade most of our acquired capital to go get an exciting QB prospect.
