Murdock is intriguing and interesting, well he should be. They had to have him balance out the Punisher. An entire season of a brooding vigilante killer without remorse and nary a sense of humor will get old by the second episode.

The problem was the writers made Daredevil a secondary character in his own show. I still think it was great casting. The writing this season wasn't up to snuff. Actually, it's not the writing so much as the showrunners mapping out the season in  a crappy way. This season was 10 pounds of baloney in a five pound bag. It was too much, to many parallel stories, dead ends and no compelling villain. Nobu was meh at best.

They have a great cast, some are perfect in my opinion. There's a lot to look forward to if the showrunners step up their game.

I really think if they streamlined the story it would have been an epic season.

By far the biggest issue was the way the story was mapped. The pacing for season 1 was completely on point but season 2 was all over the place. They tried to fit in way to much for one season. Aside from Robert Downey jr as Tony Stark I don't think there's a better casting in the MCU then Charlie cox as Matt Murdock. He just kills it as a blind guy.

Finished season two, thought it was great.

My biggest problem was the Blacksmith reveal.

Season 3 comes out on Netflix this Friday.  Apparently they're introducing Bullseye this season.

My memory is kind of shot, but wasn't he in season 1?

Or was that the daredevil/elektra movies he's in?

Colin Farrell played him in the Ben Affleck daredevil flick.

Was not in it, but there were guesses that one of the sniper shots was him.

Never had any interest in Daredevil as a character. Didnt like him because he was blind.

He also dismissed Helen Keller as "a butter-face...would not bang."
