congrats my bros. we freaking did it. were the freaking nba champs

i was at the game in san antonio last night

between arsenal winning the PL and the knicks winning the nba finals (still doesn't feel real typing that excrement out)...this has been the best month of my life

i'll have more to write about this magical run in the future, but for now all i have to say is that i am so grateful for this team, the team of my life. i'm so happy i got to experience this run.

and wembanyama is a biggity bitch

I feel like that's one of those forever plays where if it didn't happen against your own team, it's just legendary.
I was at a bar in Mass for that game. I was rooting for the Knicks quietly, but there was a table of obnoxious Spurs fans nearby to counteract all the Knicks fans who were there. Nothing made me root harder for the Knicks than having someone else rooting hard for the Spurs. I just needed something to hate, and they provided that.
