RIP Nick Mangold 1984-2025

If I bought a new Jets jersey, it would have been Mangold. Have told myself for years I should get one, but the Jets are never relevant enough and I don't go to enough games where it hasn't been worth it.

I cried last night during the broadcast when it was confirmed that Nick had passed. I am heartbroken with  this news. He was always the backbone on that team and deserved better. I always thought we would have a job in replacing Kevin Mawae but Nick came in and was the pillar for the team for years. My Daughter, on vacation in Florida phoned me to say she was upset too.
RIP Nick and thanks for all the good times.
