Magic 8 ball says Yes.

Geno Atkins isn't too shabby.

I agree, and neither is JJ Watt, but I am starting to lean to him as the best. 7 sacks already.

My question for the experts is, is he getting most of his sacks out of the 3-4 or 4-3 alignment.

Never mind that. Please tell me that you actually own a Tanner Purdum jersey.

I'd put Wilkerson neck-and-neck with JJ Watt.

Wilk is on pace to have the most sacks by a Jet in one season in years.

Abraham had 13 in 2001, Ellis has 12.5 in 2003. Wilk should beat both if he matches his first-half of the season performance.

I still have Watt ahead of him

I'm hoping the Jets can lock him down to a contract extension before he puts up Klecko/Gastineau numbers.

If he gets to 14, it'll be the 3rd-best sack season in Jets history, only behind Gastineau's 22 and 19.

Klecko actually never had more than 7.5, at least when sacks were being recorded.

Watt is definitely better than Wilkerson.

When Wilkerson puts up a Reggie White type season, come talk to me.

But ive been saying for 2 years Wilkerson = the best 3-4 DL not named JJ Watt

We have two games against Miami still to come. Tannehill got sacked 6 times yesterday by the force of nature that is the Patriots' defense.

Wilkerson will feed.

he will probably cost about 9/10 mil per

they should just extend him in the offseason and call it a victory.

The exciting thing about the Son trio is that Wilk is signed through 2015 with a 2016 option, and Harrison is only a restricted free agent in 2015.

We'll be sporting the best front three in the league for two more seasons, at just under six million total per year.

For the record, by 2016, I think Richardson will be the best of the three.  He's not a freak of nature like Wilk and he's got a lot of holes in his game thus far, but I've never seen a Jets lineman with such stamina.  After a few off-seasons training with Mo and studying under Dunbar, he's going to be one of the top three down linemen in the league.

Richardson is a freak of nature athlete just like Wilk.  DL rarely get drafted that high unless they are.
