Maybe there's a practical reason. Giving the teams more time to regroup and rethink their strategy after a round etc.
"Wrong!"

"Goodell to allow each individual draft pick it's own day.  Draft to last 8 months."

I'm  not going to lie, I already care way less about this draft than I have any other year I can remember and I can only imagine it going down in the future.  Part of it is me just getting too old to really give that much attention to it, but the extra two weeks is just a waste and the Thursday open will always kill the momentum of the thing.

So there will be another day I won't watch.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

I watch "all" of it. I pay attention to the first round on tv, and usually the second. Starting with the third I am in and out, check on my phone, when I'm home I tune in. That kind of thing.

That is exactly why Goodell is freaking up the NFL.

So what is this going to be a thursday through sunday thing?

My only guess is first rd on a thursday, 2nd on a friday, 3&4 on Saturday and 5,6,7 on Sunday.

Which is freaking retarded. freak that entire nonsense.
Need a new one for a new board...
