You won't get a good enough offer because no-one was ever going to give you a good enough offer because there's no player so good and so important to that team that it's worth giving up enough to get to #2, so you're going to do this dance for a bit and then have to make the pick anyway.

really cause ive had a legitimate trade talk and another offer, im waiting to hear back and that person is not on. im not doing anything to spite you guys but per usual this turns into a circlejerk

i didnt think you guys would be such freaking pansies over waiting 12 hours 24 max. its not like i plan on holding the draft hostage till the weekend.

What you're doing would be against the rules if the clock was running.  We started it to get things rolling early. 

I didn't expect someone to negotiate a trade for double-digit hours.  You're time would've been up at 8:18PM EST last night.  If you can't see why people are annoyed, then Puck has a bridge to sell you. 

Technically, what's happening isn't against the rules because the clock hasn't started.  But I don't have issues with people complaining about it.
