START TIMEI want to ask all of you when you think we should start this up. Does Saturday April 12th at 10:00 AM EST work for everyone?
Johnny English is Houston's GM, so he has the first pick.
HOW IT WORKSLike the three rounder, I'm not going to do time slots for this one either. We've got plenty of time to get this thing done before the NFL Draft kicks off.
It shouldn't take someone more than three hours to make a selection. If your pick is coming up and you know you won't be around, send someone your board so things can keep moving.
Put together a detailed board if you can. That way, if you get held up, you won't have to scramble.
FORMATFormatting is going to be simplified as well.
For each pick, just make it look like this:
With the 18th pick, the New York Jets select: PLAYER'S NAME - POSITION - SCHOOL
The Miami Dolphins are now on the clock. PM sent to USERNAME OF NEXT GM
Pictures and colors and all of that stuff will be optional (but encouraged) this time around.
MAIN RULESPM:
Set your PM system up so you get notifications sent to the email you check most frequently. Most of us have smart phones and we can get email notifications that way.
You have to PM the poster that's picking after you. It's the only way we can keep things moving smoothly.
Undrafted Player Names:
Don't mention undrafted players by name in the discussion thread. Try not to make hints about these players either.
TRADES: We're going to use this draft value chart:
http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.phpJust try to make the values match up as much as possible.
We're only trading picks, not players. And you can't make trades with yourself.
Not limiting the trades for this because it went smoothly during the three rounder. This doesn't mean that you should try to trade out of every pick.
