The best way to build a foundation for the offense is to draft a guard.

Back on topic ish...

if Bortles/Manziel/Carr are there, I think you make the pick and move on with life. Bridgewater has some big time concerns, and is the reason his stock seems to be "Falling" at this point in time, but the debate needs to be had. If you think he is a better player than Geno, then you take him and bolster the weapons in one of the deepest weapons class in a long time later on. Then IMO you do anything and everything you can to solidify the OL either via trades or picking up cut players, but you must do something with 2 very young QBs and an injury prone Vick on your roster.

Back in November/December, this was my dream scenario. In a QB deep draft, we're able to pick up a future solid, top fifteen quarterback who can win any game without moving up. I still wouldn't be upset, but at this point I'd rather get skill positions early and hope that a high potential quarterback is still available in a later round.

Here's an interesting flip/flop scenario...

If somebody told you we were taking a QB in the first two rounds right now, which scenario would you prefer

18 - Teddy Bridgewater
49 - Devante Adams/Troy Niklas

or

18 - Mike Evans / Brandin Cooks
49 - Jimmy Garrapollo

Mike Evans at 18 over any scenario imaginable.

I'd rather the Jets focus on the skill positions and trenches. Let's get a QB once those areas are at least decent. Why bring a new QB in here just to watch him crash and burn.

New Era doesn't actually work for any NFL teams, do they?  I'm almost positive they're just an independent site that produces draft content that other sites use sometimes.

I'd much rather a skill position player in the first like a WR or pass rusher. I'd be more than willing to eat crow if the QB taken in the first became a franchise signal caller but with Geno and Vick here it's worth waiting until next year to see what we've got. I'm not exactly thrilled with the QB prospects, especially with what will be available at pick 18. Trading up for a QB in the top 10 I would be totally against.
