You have to wonder what kind of closer Idzik is.  The guy was offered 6 years 54 million and turned it down.  Idzik knew this before he was brought to NY, so I can't believe it was a case of wanting him on the cheap.  JMO

Was told earlier today that Jets were losing hope on the DRC front. I think they were resigned to losing him to Giants. Tough blow. #nyj

Maybe his cousin knew he really wanted to be here (which he does) and Giants offered him comprable money so he took it. Knowing that the odds are pretty good we bring him back now

I dont expect him to take less money for his cousin, not by a long shot.  But not taking the job he wants, seems like something family would do

It'll be a big mistake if we sign a corner like Rodgers and have Wilson move back inside. The kid finally found his niche in the NFL, no sense jerking him around.
