Fautanu makes even more sense now.

He can play both tackle and guard spots.  Develop him to be one of our longterm tackles.

The trade back and grab a versatile OL is my second favorite draft dream right now. Restock the OL and find ways to keep stacking playmakers

Trade down for him...I'd like to have a pick in the 2nd rd.

I don’t think we can go to far down and still get him. More likely we get a 3 and then parlay both 3s into a 2.

Might not be able to trade down for him after his combine performance

If he was just a guard, I'd say move back into the teens and hope he's there.  AVT's ability to move between positions (when healthy) boosts his value.

You can't fill the oline with injury prone vets and then ignore the oline at the draft....same thing for the WRs.

Douglas's job is on the line here.
I'm joking I'd still he going OL or WR first two picks trade down or not

Lol

I'd prefer to have our stop gaps backups be quality and ready for 2025 and not rookies .

I’d also say it’s going to be nearly impossible to trade down. Who is trading up and why? If any reasonable QB prospect is going top 6 and we expect all 3 WRs off the board at 10, why are people coming up? Is somebody in the 20s dying to come get Jared Verse? I’d be surprised to see someone come up for a tackle when everyone after ALT is all lumped together. Nobody is trading up for Bowers…

I think it’s highly unlikely we can move down even though we would want to.

Someone could move up for Brock Bowers

I keep hearing that this is not a deep draft, which if true might make teams less interested in greater volume later on. Although I annually sneer at people who propose trading down like it's something that you can initiate, it might actually be more feasible this year. But it's more risky because the guys available on day 3 probably aren't up to the usual level.

This, hopefully, makes Garrett Wilson’s life much easier. Kid deserves it. Hasn’t complained one bit.
