Chances are Tyron Smith's understudy is going to get playing time.

I said thus in my jets chat earlier

Trade down and go for Guyton or Fautanu or WR

Let's go.

Now we don't have to go OL at 10. We still can, but now we can keep our options open and probably go WR/Bowers.

jetting the freak up rn

still draft OL at 10. with the way the board is shaking out right now between the QBs and WR prospects, Olu at 10 is now a real possibility.

that is what i want, but with two legit tackles signed/acquired, the pressure to draft somebody ready now like olu is less, and a trade down is something we could stomach

I think it also opens up the possibility for the completely insane play of Amarius Mims. He is raw and needs time to develop. Well… he could sit for (awhile at least) behind one of the best to ever do it and learn how Smith plays and prepares and pick his brain etc etc.

I think it’s about 10x more likely we take a playmaker at 10 than Mims, but in theory that swing would make a fuckton more sense now
Need a new one for a new board...

Yeah but if you're past a certain age you don't have to play for him you just show up and collect your check and play backgammon.  Saffold just got a year of college for his kid, didn't even get a locker combination.

Initial indications of the Tyron Smith deal: $6.5 million guaranteed with another $13.5 million to be earned based on playing time and other incentives. That’s why the Jets were surprised he took the offer.

Is Joe Douglas cooking?
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about
