I think his level of play is completely dependent on his health.  If he is healthy and playing, he is good.  I don't think there's much chance he is out there playing and healthy and just sucks.

He's coming off of is second knee injury on the same knee, he wasn't playing at a high level in 2022, he's going to be out of football shape, and he's going to be playing on a notoriously rough playing surface. There is every reason to believe he's going to struggle and very little to believe he's going to be his normal, pre-injury self.

Sometimes I feel like you treat real players like they're in Madden re: injuries.

We can't sign another band-aid starter at tackle.  We need stability.

if we waste money on Bahkteria ....i'm out on Douglas. I'll just wait until Woody is done wasting his time on this regime before i care again.

I agree the problem is… there isn’t an option out there

Tyron Smith is injury prone
Trent Brown is not someone reliable
Bahktiari is as injured as they come.

Who else has a real shot to be a plus starter on the left side? Joe Alt? Good look counting on that in the draft
Need a new one for a new board...

Donovan Smith is the best option.  He's not great but he's better than anything we've had in a while.

Olu Fashanu is the other top left tackle prospect.  Doubt he makes it to 10.  Fuaga and Latham can play right tackle.

Eluemanor and Onwenu should be top targets for us.  Forget skill players.  We need to heavily target players on the offensive line.

Looking at the FA list. Chukwuma Okorafor has shown flashes of ability. Jonah Williams has some talent. Is Cam Fleming any good?

Okorafor should be on Joe’s list.  He’s not great but he can start immediately.

Jonah Williams is not that good and he’s only done well at right tackle.  Still better than what we’ve had or currently have.

Fleming would be a decent swing tackle.

Seems we are much more likely to solve the LT problem in free agency.

We could also reach a bit for a prospect like Tyler Guyton

IMO we should completely focus on the OL in FA and get a pass catcher with our first pick in the draft. With the cap increase I thinks it’s seriously doubtful that we could find a good WR at a normal price, most of the top ones will be franchised and I don’t think overpaying for Marquise Brown or Gabe Davis is the best idea in the world. There are some options for OL on the other hand, not all of them great but enough depth to focus there and find our WR in the draft (or Bowers, who I probably like much more than most of you 😅)
