Interesting. I thought you had him as more of a Santonio Holmes type. Not fast enough?

Lee has really good game speed.  I just don't see him as a serious home run threat.  He does his damage underneath.

He isn't tough like Wayne.

Odell Beckham ---> Steve Smith + 2 inches
Marquise Lee ---> Santonio Holmes
Calvin Pryor ---> Bob Sanders (heard this one today)
Kelvin Benjamin ---> Plaxico Burress

Ill add a +1 to the Adams - Crabtree comparison

Is it bad that I keep thinking Jimmie Ward has the ability to be a similar styled player to Earl Thomas?

I don't think he's nearly the coverage player Earl Thomas is/was coming out.

I'm with WW on Cooks as Santana Moss back in the day.

For ODB, he is like Greg Jennings (or Pierre Garçon) to me.  All three are guys who can run routes and beat you with a suddenness without being the fastest guy. He ran really well but I think his game speed isn't quite at that level.

I don't see much of Ben Roethlisberger when watching Zach Mettenberger.

They are both big, but Big Ben is so much more athletic than Mettenberger.

Earl Thomas was a borderline elite safety prospect and now he's an elite player at his position.

Ward will be lucky to go in the second round.  He can hit and fly around, but he's not on the same level as Thomas.

How about Mettenberger and Glennon?

Yeah I know he's not the same level prospect/player, although if he played at a bigger school he could be a 1st round player. Im just talking about the type of player really- ability to cover the slot and can play single high safety. They also have a similar build, although Ward is a little slimmer. Im not saying that he's the next Earl Thomas, but that Ward can play a similar role as a safety.

Jake Matthews- Jordan Gross.  Technician type without being overly dominant with strength or athleticism.
Teddy Bridgewater- Aaron Rodgers.  Very effective athlete, accurate, with a great release.
Mike Evans- Vincent Jackson.  Great size, better athlete than one can really tell.
Eric Ebron- Vernon Davis.  Great seam receiver because of how he finds gaps.  Good blocker but inconsistent.
Kony Ealy- Jason Hatcher.  A true DE in a bigger man's body.  He'd be great in a one gap 34.
Dee Ford- Trent Cole.  Leverage rusher, suddenness is what makes them money.
ODB- Greg Jennings.  See above.
Kyle Van Noy- KJ Wright.  Good athlete, great coverage player, and versatile enough to play a few spots.
