81 more of these bullshit DJ Smith performances to sit through unless by some miracle our new owner actually has the balls to completely clean out behind the bench, and most of the front office, like he should have done a month ago on the day he took over.

So there's a rogue rumor making the rounds that Corey Perry is getting released because he banged Conor Bedard's mom...and honestly, the Blackhawks statement upon terminating his contract does NOTHING to dispel said rumor.

He shoots, he scores! FWIW, Conor's mom is a total babe.

That's been going round a few days but I don't think it's true; I've also been told that it's because he had an incident while drunk on the recent road trip, team asked him to enter the NHL rehab program, and he refused.

The way the team worded the response it wasn't because of banging a Mom. No way is there a Mom banging clause in a player's contract.

Alfie's been with the team pretty much since the day Andlauer took over, Jacques has been behind the bench for a couple of weeks - ostensibly to assist DJ, but realistically to report on and then replace him. Alfie and Jacques are an interim for the rest of the season, it buys ownership time to find a GM who can then hire a long term coach for next season.

I don't know why Capuano didn't get fired as well though.
