#Jets WR Corey Davis talked to teammates last night and informed them his plans to retire. He’d been contemplating it for awhile.

He was the ultimate professional during his tenure here. Always enjoyed talking to him.

Wish him, his wife & two babies nothing but the best.

He's been away from the team for a while, not surprised.

On one hand our wr room depth just went from tops in thr league to average.  On another hand if we wanted to go more 12 personal with a heavy run game (which makes sense) I think we should be fine.

He's 28 years old, healthy, has made $52M in his career and is leaving another $11M on the table. It is both slightly surprising and also really smart.

He comes across as a good dude and he seems to be very well thought of by his teammates, I just don't think he's ever looked like being worth his draft position or his contract.

Trading away Moore and then passing on receivers in the draft is looking a bit questionable now.

Joe Douglas isn't a precog.

He wasn't even guaranteed to make the roster. Garrett / Lazard / Hardman / Cobb are locks, Brownlee is looking likely based on camp performance, Taylor came from GB and is presumably known to and liked by Rodgers, Erickson and Gipson are fighting it out for WR6/PR/KR.

Our depth is still solid provided everyone stays healthy
