If we don't have the worst bullpen era in baseball at the end of the year it'll be a miracle. Bunch of no blatantly bad no-names and Parnell throwing 89 mph? lol

Nope.

Parnell shouldn't be closing now and that's completely on Collins.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Valverde is a spot closer for the first month while Parnell is working back to 100%.

Parnell has never been good. Paper closer.

Welp, there we go http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/story/_/id/10709513/bobby-parnell-new-york-mets-partially-torn-elbow-ligament
Wouldn't be surprised to see Black back up here already.

Nope.

Nevermind they brought Farnsworth back up who looked even more like trash than Black in the spring and hasn't been good since 2011!

I assume they actually have hope that Black has a technical issue to work out to be good in the future, Farnesworth is just going to eat up innings in games we're going to lose anyway.

I hate this team so freaking much.

Everything about this organization pisses me off.

Even the Knicks at their worst or the Milbury islanders didn't made me as mad as the mets do all the time for the past 7 years.

So early results showing Granderson will totally be worth his contract. 0-9 with five strikeouts.

... not that he's doing worse than the rest of the team, 31 team strikeouts over two games. This is going to be a long season.

@AnthonyDiComo
Collins says Chris Young will go on DL today. Wilmer will stick around at least until Sunday. #Mets

Parnell to get Tommy John. Out for the rest of this year, contract status up in the air. As much as he's inconsistent, the team is better with him than without him. This bullpen is going to be painful to watch.
