I’m going to assume 2 of those three losses are in the CFP. And oh by the way the most recent one he had the best team in the country on the ropes until his corner slipped. Despite missing half his premier weapons, he got Strouds best day of his life, and had them in position to win it with a 48 yard kick that his kicker shanked. If his kicker makes that kick, are you making the same argument right now?
I'm not sold on Day as a head coach at the NFL level either.

I don't know if he would be a Rhule-level disaster because I think Day has a legit offense he can bring to the NFL and if that works out, then the rest can be taught.

But he's not a good in-game coach.

Even if he won, he would be 3-2 in 4 years. 5 one possession games in 4 years. Yeah he's winning most of them but that's college football at a powerhouse. Odds are higher you're getting Rhule than Jimmy Johnson and we aren't a 90s Cowboys sort of roster.

We should hire Urban Meyer then. He had a great record in college.

Yeah, because Ryan Day has been as unstable as Urban Meyer.

Day is the best NFL HC option at the college level and it’s not particularly close right now.  You could say it’s Harbaugh but he’s a nutjob.

Him losing to Clemson and Georgia and whoever else in close games shouldn’t be a strike against him.  Those were better teams.

The fact he got his team into a “close game” against superior talents, should be a gold star. Christ what he did to Clemson with Fields as his QB in the playoff? Absolutely freaking nuts how good his game plan was
Need a new one for a new board...

I’ve been going through the tackles, and I see we might share some opinions of the guys at the top.

I have Anton Harrison and Broderick Jones as my 1 and 1A right now. While different, those guys seem to have more developed skillsets without a huge question mark in their games.

Darnell Wright is 3rd for me, but still right there with the above group. At his size you’d think he wouldn’t have the feet that he does, but he’s smooth. Then he anchors down and is just too strong for people. He also uses his initial punch better than maybe anyone in the class. Really good player.

The one guy I seem to like more than most is Tyler Steen. I don’t know how he’ll measure because he looks like he lacks length, but he has the technique down. Really a pleasure to watch.

Paris Johnson looks raw and, honestly, weak. His teammate is better, even though he has his own limitations.

The more I watch him, the more I think he might be a better fit at guard

He’s the kind of guy I’d be excited about getting on day 3 to develop, but I don’t see the hype that he’s getting outside of the traits. Guard in a scheme that works on angles and movement is probably the best bet for what he is now.

From TDN's scouting report on Anthony Richardson:

Quote
Richardson’s improvements are centered around his accuracy. While Richardson has a strong arm, ball placement and location are a couple key elements that Richardson appears to be inconsistent with. It appears Richardson’s accuracy comes from his mechanics. When he can operate correctly mechanically, everything looks good. When he doesn’t quite execute proper mechanics, it leads to missed throws, incompletions, tipped throws, or interceptions.
