I just went to UBS on Monday to see the Devils-Isles (shoutout to Islander fans for being super cool. Polite, knowledgeable about the game, social, etc).
It's a really nice building, the sightlines are great, good amenities, nice atmosphere. Wish the parking situation was a little better but that's not the end of the world.
Point is, aside from Barclay Center which IMHO also sucks derriere (shitty amenities, a pain in the derriere to get to, horrible seating, maybe the worst acoustics for a concert ever) all the "new' arenas and stadiums in the area are great. People love to excrement on Yankee Stadium for reasons I don't understand (though again, parking does suck). I'm certainly not a Mets fan but Citi is a wonderful ballpark. Prudential Center some 17 years later still looks and feels brand new. MSG is MSG.
MetLife is the biggest piece of excrement, ugly sterile dump that they could've possibly built. At least if the Jets and Giants split the cost of a retractable roof we'd be getting super bowls in the area probably once every five years, but they couldn't even do that. The building is a disgrace on so many levels.
