I do think this makes it more likely we draft a RB. I wonder if they trade down in round 5 to try to grab a pick a little later, or if they would just take Mitchell Round 5 if they like him that much.

Non-football injury? Did he hurt himself celebrating Rodgers' arrival?
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Kind of shitty if they knew they were going to cut him, but maybe they weren't planning to.

I couldn't stand the player, but the human being deserves better if they knew they were cutting him. Surgery sucks, worse if it's something that'll heal on its own.

To me, sounds like they did him a solid, paid for his surgery since he got hurt on his own time I’m not sure that needed to happen, and then let him go.

If they were about to cut him after drafting Izzy, and find out he hurt himself, they got him the surgery before cutting him loose instead of just moving on from him
Need a new one for a new board...

Yeah, not sure why he thinks he was wronged. He was never playing this season with a torn pec.

No, I’m sure Ty Johnson knows better than the doctors. Jets should have cut him with the torn pec and there would be teams lining up to sign him

Ty intentionally tore his pec to make things easier for the rest of the league
