Assorted 2023 Mock Drafts

JD seems to likes drafting athletes early (every first round pick besides Garrett Wilson has been >9 RAS - and the top two RAS guys we've taken in the first are AVT at a 9.79 RAS, and Becton a 9.85 RAS). I imagine if Johnson tests well and the other don't test nearly as well we'll lean more in his direction.

Broderick Jones should hopefully test similarly. 

Darnell Wright, who we all seems to really like here, will probably have some pretty subpar testing numbers.

Johnson will get his derriere kicked in the run game early on.  I thought the same thing about AVT too though, so...

We need athletes on the OL.  Johnson is certainly that.  Jones and Wright are much safer picks.

It's ok I rallied against brick and said you don't take a LT that early unless theyre complete

I wasn't wrong but only took him a couple yrs to become the best LT I've seen in my lifespan in a jets uni lol

Take Broderick Jones (athletic/higher ceiling) over Paris Johnson.  You thrive in the SEC that’s another argument in your favor.

Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

New York has to get better up front, specifically at offensive tackle. Lucky for them, perhaps the best tackle in the class falls right to their lap. Broderick Jones is a very good athlete and has excellent length. He is a powerful player in the run game and will be a day-one starter.
